William Hurt, seen here as General “Thunderbolt” Ross from last year’s Incredible Hulk movie, has been added to the cast of Ridley Scott’s untitled Robin Hood, formerly known as Nottingham.

William Hurt (A History of Violence, The Incredible Hulk) has joined the cast of “Robin Hood,” the upcoming Ridley Scott-directed film based on the classic story.

Damages actor William Hurt will star in the Ridley Scott-directed untitled Robin Hood movie as William Marshall, the Earl of Pembroke, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dou You know who is William Hurt’s Girlfriend ?

The Universal and Imagine film, which is being described as a retelling of the origins of the tale’s main characters, will also star Russell Crowe (as Robin Hood), Cate Blanchett (as Maid Marian), and Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand and Alan Doyle as the Merry Men. The project just began production in the U.K.
