Richest Man In the World : Carlos Slim Helu

Is there anyone who does not want to be rich? It seems that every person in this world wanted to be rich. All the efforts and hard work they do. And in the end some have position as the richest people in the world. I can not imagine, how they felt.
And now, according to Forbes 2010, there is a new ‘richest man in the world’. In the list of World Billionaires, Carlos Slim Helu now takes top position among the world’s wealthiest people. In doing so he knocks the infamous Bill Gates from the top spot, which he had held for the previous 3 years running.
Slim’s fortune is estimated to be worth $53.5 billion–that’s $18.5 billion more than his money 12 months ago. Shares of America Movil (AMX), of which Slim owns a $23 billion stake, were up 35% in a year.
Microsoft’s Bill gates was the world’s richest for the past years, but now he is only second to Helu with an estimated worth of $53 billion. In only 12 months, Microsoft had a growth of 50%. Gates’ holdings in CAE (Cascade) personal investment vehicle also reached new heights.
Meanwhile, Buffet’s fortune ballooned from $10 billion to $47 billion on rising shares of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK), making him the third richest in the world.
Angela Kramer Ex Boyfriend Still in Custody

Police can continue to hold without charges a man possibly connected to the Darien triple murder investigation, a judge ruled today.
Prosecutors and police continue to question the 28-year-old ex-boyfriend of Angela Kramer, the woman who survived the the deadly, early-morning attack by hiding in a closet and dialing 911. Her father, 50-year-old Jeffery Kramer, her 48-year-old mother Lori and her 20-year-old brother Michael died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police apparently suspect some connection between the man and Jacob Nodarse, who was arrested for the murders on Thursday. (continue reading…)
