The lead singer, base guitar player and music composer for the band “Type O Negative” Peter Steele has died. The time of death was yesterday (Wednesday), but the news is confirmed today.

Reason for Steele’s death is reported to be heart attack. Reason for the heart attack is still unknown as Steele was a healthy looking individual. There are possibilities that an obese person is more likely to get a heart attack than someone who is of normal health with no apparent health issues. However, the exact condition of Steele’s health before his death is still unknown.

Apparently there was a joke made regarding Steele’s death in 2005, when he was rumored to have died. Obviously when the joke was revealed it was criticized heavily because of the sensitivity of its nature. (continue reading…)
