Statue Cruises of Liberty Tickets

Beginning July 4, the public can visit and view the New York skyline from the top of Statue of Liberty’s crown again, as Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced. Crown reservations may be made through the Statue Cruises Web.
In another smoke and mirrors effort to divert our attention from important issues, our government, through Statue Cruises, is again allowing “we the people” into the crown of the Statue of Liberty.

Holocaust Museum Shooting

Holocaust Museum Shooting. Early reports out of Washington, D.C. are saying that a man, reportedly James Von Brunn, walked into the National Holocaust Museum and opened fire on a security officer. Another officer, on duty, returned fire reportedly wounding the shooter.
The museum normally has a heavy security presence with guards positioned both inside and outside.
All visitors are required to pass through metal detectors at the entrance, and bags are screened.
